So in the interest of full disclosure, I will say now that I am currently going through a divorce after a pretty long marriage. One of the best things that happened to me from this marriage is my two beautiful daughters, who are my loves and my rock. I'm not looking to date anyone at this point; I'm here to find people who enjoy good coversations, great food, and good times in general without the pressure of trying to see if we're a good dating match! If anything, that comes later... after the friendship!

Right now my hobbies are motorcycles, reading, cooking, talking to people, and doing my best to enjoy life! I change my hobbies, depending on who I'm hanging out with. I love trying new things and I like introducing people to new things.

My goals are pretty specific. I work for a large telecommunications company where I am currently a manager. I plan to continue with my career path, finish my undergraduate degree, and move as far up in the company as they will allow. Once I feel like I've exhausted all opportunities in my current track, I will find a new one to continue to move up. Either that or once they realize how useless I am, I'll just decide to go mad and chase a couch through a prehistoric field... (and if you can tell me where this literary reference came from, you and I are going to get along very well!)

I guess what makes me the most unique is how I grew up. I spent most of my childhood in Europe, living in Spain and West Germany in the 1980s. I've traveled to and visited almost every western European country at some point or another. I had the fortune of moving back to Germany after the country re-unified, which was a completely new experience even though I was only 30 miles from where I grew up. I do enjoy not only talking about my history and experiences, but also listening to what others have done. (*Side note: I moved back to Germany during my 4 year enlistment in the U. S. Army. The best four contiguous years of my life, pre-children.*)

My tastes in music varies a lot. I am not too much into hard-core rap and hip-hop. But I will say that I could easily go to the Houston Symphony and a Motley Crue concert in one night! I will listen to pretty much anything and will be completely honest in whether I like it or not...

And I am also a very up-front and honest person. I can be a flirt, I can be serious, and I can be a completely off-the-wall goof! It all depends on my mood, who I'm talking to, and the position of Pluto as it passes through the Big Dipper and how pissed he is because he's not a planet anymore...

Oh, one other thing. I do smoke. I know it's a bad habit and one thing I pride myself on is that if my smoking bothers someone, I won't do it around them.

**Also, if I've viewed you and you don't have too much information for me to go on (i.e. only a poem or the bare-minimum three sentences), I probably won't write. Honestly, not quite enough to go on and don't know where to start! It doesn't mean you can't write me first, though!

A quiet coffee shop where we can sit down and talk for a bit. If all goes well from there, possibly dinner.
