I am never good at writing these things, but here goes...

I am a single mother, have sole custody of my 12 year old daughter. I am not the soft mushy type of gal, been told I think like a guy, haha. Of course having two brothers and growing up around tons of guys could be the reasoning behind that. Not to say I don't enjoy girly things, just not overly girly. Having a thick skin and being able to take a joke are imperative.

I enjoy joking around, having fun, and overall just having a good time. My friends always say I crack them up, so I do have a great sense of humor apparently! I enjoy sports, mostly football, hockey, and NASCAR. Have only attended hockey games, but really want to check the other two out one of these days.

I am not looking for anything serious at this time, just to meet people, have fun, and see what happens. If something great happens, wonderful, if not, oh well...you can never have enough friends, and I might have a great gal for you!

First dates should be fun and unique. First impressions are everything. I like to get away from the mundane and do something other than sit across a table looking at each other. Putt putt golf, go cart racing, something like that shows more personality and you don't feel so "on the spot" about things. I like to be relaxed when I meet somebody and I think it really helps the conversation flow, instead of it feeling forced.
