I love intellectual conversation and challenges from time to time. I have a passion for music, literature, drama, art, and the finer things in life. Making art and culture an ongoing part of my life and continuing to expand my knowledge and awareness is important to me.
Other times I enjoy just relaxing and being with the people that I like. I have great sense of humour and a communication style, which many people are comfortable with almost immediately. I am a sincere and good listener. My calming personality makes me pleasant to be around. All that said, I am somewhat reserved when meeting new people and may be less talkative than others initially.
I typically spend my leisure time reading, listening to an eclectic array of music, camping, fishing, cooking, and spending time with close friends and relatives. Though I understand the importance of friendships and contacts, I am self-reliant and do not rely solely on others. At the same time I am very supportive of other people and like to help others reach their goals and make them happy.
I listen to CBC Radio whenever I can, and am often torn between CBC Radio One and CBC Radio Two. If that bores you, not to worry, I come pre-packaged with my own set of headphones.
I am emotionally healthy, and want to share a stable life with someone special. I am a dependable and caring partner who believes life should be about having fun and laughing. My loyalty shows in a variety of ways including my staying power with relationships and activities. I tend to approach problems in a creative way and don't get bogged down when the going gets tough in a relationship. I like to resolve issues in a relationship well the first time, and then move on.
My sense of morals is not dictated by the current norms of society, but I am spiritual and my beliefs come from within. Though I may have flighty ideas and grand plans at times, I show self-control in most things I undertake. I am not an extremist.
