The people who know me best would describe me as an optimist. I'm interested in a lot of different things but I'm not an expert or driven by any single passion. I’m attractive in a “girl next door” kind of way, which is apropos to my Midwestern roots.

I like things like biking, hiking and playing golf. But I just can’t take my golf game serious enough to keep score. I try to bike to the beach most weekends with friends. Just took up sailing and learning a lot. I exercise regularly and love the way a strong lean body makes me feel about myself mentally and physically.

My life’s journey has taken me from Kansas to New York to Colorado and finally to Los Angeles. I’ve been fortunate to collected life-long friends along the way.

I like meeting new people and learning what makes them tick. One of the things that I like best about myself is that I’m usually pretty good at drawing other people out. I'm pretty comfortable striking up conversations with total strangers. The flip side of that is that I’m also pretty outspoken.

I require a regular sushi fix. I like most kinds of foods. But have adopted a healthy diet as an everyday habit. I’m not a great cook. But I putter in the kitchen. I’m great at doing dishes.

I like a lot of different things, but I'm not not particularly proficient at anything . I golf, bike, play tennis, enjoy a good book, love movies and like to make time to spend with friends.

I like to get away and travel. I took a SPA trip that was absolutely decadent, relaxing and totally self indulgent. I was guilty for about a minute.

I'm reading a couple of books right now. "Good to Great" which explores the traits that distinguish some of the greatest business successes in history. "Celestine Prophecy" that illustrates the role of coincidences in our lives.

I'll meet you half-way! Location should be conducive to being able to talk and listen. Just want to be able to focus on your eyes, your smile and see what I can read between the lines.
