I'm introverted, loyal, friendly, spontaneous, outspoken, crazy, careful, broody, moody, kind, enthusiastic, sarcastic, hard working, I like to surprise people. A gentle volcano is what my friends would call me. I will go the extra mile. I try to make the best of every day...time is too little for nonsense. Having fun and adventure has to be balanced by making the world a better place as much as one can. Helping people gives sense and purpose to one's existence. I like to live in peace with everybody as far as it depends on me. Treating everybody with respect is the best way to show self respect.

I would like to meet enthusiastic, mature and really active people of all ages.

For the concert of life nobody gets a program! Most important is to have friends to share what life brings our way, to laugh together and to cry together...to laugh again...

My aim was to finish at least three ultra marathons this year, without getting cramps or blisters...three down...Getting better shoes made a difference! Next year I want to try to finish a mean one in Alberta...want to join me? Come on, try at least once...you may like it - finishing is the best part.

Should try a bit of cycling, swimming and kayaking.

Try working out and jogging three hours a week. If I don't punish my body now it will punish me in the years to come - and I'm taking singing lessons once a week...because I certainly need them!

Plan to build a small pottery studio before winter - will teach you pottery - just ask. 69 days left on Oct 13, 2009...still planning.

Wish list: shorter and longer hikes on the Island and Mainland, and visiting the highest mountains and tallest trees in North America. You are invited.

Fun list: art galleries, music concerts and the opera when the chance comes up. So...?

Getting together, with food and wine or water, makes sense too. I like conversation as much as I like to be quiet. I prefer a fire to TV, yet on winter evenings I will enjoy documentaries, and now and then a good movie. I also do more cooking in winter to counter the effects of cabin fever, or I will shovel snow at midnight.

I like reading profiles...so if I read yours again and again don't get paranoid! (chuckle in order)

Toured Central and Eastern Europe long ago...and I know other places very well.

I wondered a lot...should I be here...should I show my face...and obviously I decided to go for it. There is nothing to be ashamed off. We are what we are and have to make the absolute best of it. That is one way to show self respect! And if, by chance, you recognize me, give me a call. It is about time!

For those searching for the perfect match - it does not exist (we are not perfect)...and the excitement of a new find does not stay - to make a relationship work takes chemistry initially - and after that sweat equity - sharing basic values is important. If you are here for a one night stand I guess chemistry is all it takes - just take care! Good luck everybody - I hope all you beautiful people get what you want and need! Everybody here have one thing in common: wanting to connect to somebody in some way. The eternal thirst for love and communion is what I call it.
