I asked some friends to give me some adjectives to describe me and here's what I got back: communicative, creative, spirited, smart, caring, passionate and authentic.

Some of my interests are boating (power and sail), biking, tennis, working out, rafting, travel, great food and drink (from burgers and beer to fine dining and bordeaux), and learning/trying new things in general. I strive to see the positives in life, glass half full, lemons to lemonade and that type of thing---life is just better that way.

I love almost all types of music, listen to mostly adult alternative rock. My CD collection spans just about everything from big band to opera, with lots of rock, acoustic, and more in-between. Live music is terrific from a concert to a small place with an acoustic guitarist.

I've traveled to 11 countries so far (have many more I'd like to visit), am a certified sommelier (just for fun, not income), and am licensed to charter up to a 42' sailboat (would love to get a catamaran and explore the Caribbean or Mediterranean). By day I'm corporate executive and can usually spel corectle. I have two teenage kids (one of each) who are terrific and whom I love dearly.

I'm most attracted (and connect best with) a woman who is smart, confident and expressive. Open communication is really important--both ways. I've heard some guys are intimidated by an intelligent, accomplished woman--not me.

If you happen to like a few of the same activities I do, that's great. I also love to try new things, that's one of the best parts of life. I am 6'7" tall, so if you like tall men, that would be helpful....

Someplace easy and not too noisy so we can talk and listen would be great. A wine bar, out for appetizers or an oceanfront cafe could all be great venues to meet and listen to each other for a while and see if we have common energy/interests or maybe even sparks...
