Born and raised in Calgary. I like to play team sports and spend the majority of my time either with my young daughter or with friends. I love to read, write, cook (experimentally), play guitar and entertain. Having friends and family over for a backyard BBQ followed up a campfire and music - is my absolute favourite thing to do.

I like all types of music but really enjoy guitarists who write good lyrics (willie, cash, paul simon, jack johnson, eddie vedder, gord downie, bowie, who, stones, tom waits). I prefer singers with unique voices. Nina Simone is one of my favourites - as is, kate pierson.

I consider myself easy to get along with, have a good heart and I'm very considerate of others - I try not to take myself too seriously. I love to laugh and joke around - and have been told by friends that I am funny (with a dry sense of humour).

I'm good socially and have been a 'safety date' more times than I care to remember. That said, I do tend to swear a bit - but never really ugly stuff, or around old people, people that I don't think are cool with it, policemen and most importantly my daughter.

I like taking time off - even if it's a local camping trip, ball tournament or going out of town to see a concert. I firmly believe that the adventure is in the trip.

Someone that is honest, confident, has their own interests and really loves to laugh. I need someone that has a good sense of humour and isn't easily offended.

Go to a comedy club, have some drinks and great conversation. Show pictures of my little girl, tell stories, joke around - and laugh. I also really like to try new restaurants and different food - so I'm open to that too.

To be 100% honest I wouldn't care what we did - as long as there is an opportunity to talk and get to know one another.
