Let me introduce myself. My name is FRAN. (F) Friendly, fantastic, funny and always looking foreward to the future. (R) Real, Yes! I am a real woman, nothing fake about me. I am mature and realistic about myself, what I'm looking for and life in general. I do not expect perfection from myself or you, nor is any relationship perfect. It is a work in progress requiring mutual respect, caring consideration, consistant attention and passion. For my entire adult life, I've been someones wife, mother or employee. I am now widowed, my sons are grown, and I've worked long enough to comfortably retire. Now, I am just ME, enjoying all that life still has to offer. (A) I am artistic, and adventerous; I take time to appreciate the little things, the free things so ofter overlooked....the beauty of a flower (I love gardening), a lovely sunset, a warm sandy beach, the pure joy of a smile or laugh, the freshness after a spring rain, the sparkle on the dew or freshly fallen snow. God has given us so many gifts....I hope one day to share at least a part of my future with a special someone.....One who enjoys holding hands walking beside me, traveling, fairs, festivals, antiques, yard sales, concerts, museums, zoos, parks and lakes, dining and enjoying safe activities (forget sky-diving or bungy jumping, but riding in a hot-air balloon is on my "bucket list") My artistic creativity is realized in landscaping, home decorating and quilting. I ceate my own designs and sew by hand like Grandma use to. Yes, I am sosmewhat old-fashioned and still have a little bit of country in me. But I am definitely not the Granny who just sits in her rocking chair. I am equally satisfied, out camping, enjoying nature, baiting my own hook and patiently waiting for the excitement of catching that really BIG fish! The other side of me - I am also the classy lady wearing beautiful jewelry on a cruise ship in the Caribbean or the frugal gambler checking out the atmosphere and excitement of a casino. (N) I am a nurturing and kind-hearted woman, a compassionate and loyal best friend, and I have always enjoyed people. Ive worked with all kinds of people in all kinds of situations. But I am retired now so I have more time for friends, travel and NEW adventures.....I do not need a man in my life to take care of me. I am financially independant. I can be a great partner, but I'n not a follower. I want someone to walk beside me, not in front of... or behind me. Life is too short, not to enjoy each day fully, and make it the most it can possibly be...I am looking for a companion - one to share lifes ups and downs, twists and turns and to just "enjoy the journey" towards whatever destination we desire.....If you are looking for a domestic goddess, a housekeeper, a cook or a one-night-stand, HIRE one.
