About Me
Looking for a long term relationship. New to this site...so just checking things out right now. I like the normal things (least I think they're normal). Love movies - cuddling at home or in the theatre. Enjoy traveling around the area - particularly the mountains and the beach. I'm very affectionate and enjoy public displays of affection. For the record, I listed the above age to be placed in the under 50 searches. My correct age is a very romantic & vibrant 56. The following poem pretty much describes the kind of love I'm looking for...the last great love of my life...so if you see yourself in it too...and we have mutual visual chemistry...I know I would enjoy talking with you ;)
Thoughts of Love
The sunset has faded once more. Gone are its radiant hues That warmed the end of my day. The darkness of night envelopes me. The air is still, the quietness of the evening deafening.
I sit and ponder the past and question the future. Memories, thoughts, flooding my mind. Just like a pond when a stone is cast upon it, So are the rippling effects borne by my heart and soul. Because I still have the innocence of a child’s daydreams
Though I face each day from a world of reality. I long to drop the guard that surrounds my thoughts and feelings Waiting for the day when I can unlocked those closed doors, Welcoming a love into my world To became a part of it, as I would become a part of hers.
Trusting and exploring each other as children, So openly innocent in our exchange of keys to each others heart. Unlocking the privacy we have secured from others for so long. Allowing fantasies to become reality, kisses of passion unbridled. Sharing a tenderness and gentleness we’ve only dreamed of. Where, warmed and comforted by each other, We would begin to know the feel and touch of real love.
With the dawn of each new day we would be reminded Of the warmth, the closeness we share. And as the night closes in, the stars of evening, sparkling like jewels Would only begin to represent the memories we will cherish with each other. Our friendship would remain, our future undaunted.
Is it sad that I believe daydreams and fairytales still come true? That I still search with the eyes of a child, For the heart of a woman I can call my Princess? Hoping, like King Arthur & Guinevere We both can taste and share the joys and magic of Camelot
First Date
