I’m often mistaken for the quiet one. It’s pretty amusing to see the surprise on people’s faces when they realize that’s so not the case.

I’m inquisitive by nature and love to learn about other cultures. One of my true passions is travel, both short roadtrips and longer excursions. I’ve gotten hooked on cruises (I love being able to visit several different places and only having to unpack once.) Last year I took a cruise that went through the Panama Canal which was an incredible experience.

Some of the other places I’ve traveled include Acapulco (seeing the La Quebrada cliff divers in person was remarkable), and Barbados (the beaches were gorgeous). There are so many others places I’d love to visit. At the top of my list are China, Japan and Egypt. How about you?

I love to read, two of my favorite books are the Handmaids tale and the Time Travelers Wife. But honestly, I’m also a fan of cheesy crime novels and try to read the newspaper every morning.

If you took a peak at my Ipod, you’d find I have an eclectic taste including everything from the BareNaked Ladies, to Idina Menzel, Daft Punk, and (gasp!) Britney Spears.

My match would be a man who is passionate about his interests and who enjoys long conversations about the sublime and the ridiculous. A love for travel is a must.
