I like to laugh. I like to dance. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping ,canoeing, and campfire cooking, but I also fully appreciate a 5 star hotel with all the amenities. I enjoy traveling and have a hard time deciding between the mountains and the beach. I love being out and about in Kansas City. There are a lot of fun festivals and events to do right here almost every weekend.

I really want to play more golf. I took lessons last fall and played a couple of rounds, but I'm still pretty green and looking for someone to mentor me as I play.

I grew up in a large Irish family - although I don't see them as much as I would like because of distance. It is usually chaos when we get together and there are a few knuckleheads among them, but what would you expect from a huge Irish clan?

I enjoy gathering a group people around the table and sharing a good meal and a couple of bottles of wine. In nice weather, the front porch is my definite preference.

I like all kinds of music, everything from blues, to rock to classical to Celtic. I especially enjoy going to hear live music.

Gosh, a first date would depend on the person. I would think we would meet for an adult beverage somewhere and get to know each other face to face. After we talked and had time to get to know each other better, we could decide on what the second date might be.

Second date: A ballgame, maybe dinner, or a play if that's our mutual interest or some live music, a festival...there are so many possibilities depending on the time of year.
