My mother's hairdresser told her about this website (for me not mom ... she's married to a very cool fella ---- my dad!). Guess she feels that I need to settle down but I think it's more my dad who needs a golf partner! :)

I just returned from an 8 day trip to Cozumel with my bestfriend and we had a blast! However, we were at an all-inclusive and EVERYONE was a couple (including several lesbian couples --- so we were assumed to be "partners"). It made me realize that having freedom is great but to NOT have someone to go to sleep next to and wake up with is too important to miss out on. I want someone to know my favorite meal (and maybe even cook it!), love my quirks, laugh when I get mad at silly stuff (okay ... maybe that's a stretch), makes me want to be a better person, loves family and animals, can sit in silence - look into each others eyes - and be completely content, and most of all have healthy communication (understand that I don't need him to FIX every issue but just to listen and support me as I would do for him).

First date .... hmmmmm ....

I would love to have a picnic! I know it sounds cheesy but I think a great bottle of wine, cheese, fruit, and conversation would be a great starting point to get to know someone. There would be limited distractions to allow us to get to really know each other to see if any chemistry is there. Plus it will give me a chance to check out the feet ... .just kidding!
