| | I am probably the most laid-back easy to get along with person you'll ever meet. After years of having a short fuse, I realized I was only hurting myself...and decided not to waste my energy on something like that.
I worked twenty years for the Department of Correctaions, and left to work with at-risk teens. Unfortunately, the economy took it's toll, and the home closed forcing me to return to "jail". It's not bad,especially when it's "eight and the gate"!!
I love being with people, and consider myself a romantic. If the good guy always winds up last, so be it...I refuse to be rude/mean just to get a girl friend...I wouldn't be happy with one like that if I caught her.
In trying to keep up with POF's hints for being successful, hobbies are reading, listening to music (oldies and country mostly), cooking...(Yes, I can cook, and haven't killed anyone yet!)...I love to have fun...simple things...walking and talking...just being with that someone special...if we're right for each other, you don't always have to be doing something...

I'm looking for that special someone...a friend...and let that friendship catch on fire. I read in another profile that there's a difference in sex and making love...and I don't want someone just to fall into bed with. I'm seeking someone to share life's good and bad times with...simple things...a walk in the rain...acting like teenagers again...just having fun...even spur of the moment things.
I am highly sensitive to tobacco, and cannot be around second hand smoke (sorry). I do not drink, but don't mind if you do...as long as you know when to stop. I've been around drunks, and they're no fun.
