I currently live in Baltimore County in Essex. I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and moved to Baltimore a couple of years ago to help my older sister. I run her beauty salon and am a Manicurist. I'm a true Tarheel at heart and fallen in love with Ravens Football. I love to travel and do so a few times a year. I love the beach, fishing, flying kites, antiquing, flea markets, going to museums, the theater, music festivals, spending time with my grandchildren, and just have a good time in general. I have 2 small grandchildren, both boys that I adore but they live in NC so I don't see them very much. I am not a jealous person, so if you are, don`t bother with me.....I don`t have the time or patience for that green monster. I don`t mean to be so blunt, but been there, done that. I still have the child in my heart and hope to never lose it. I like to build sand castles at the beach and fly my kites. I love the sound of the waves breaking at the shore. I love Whale watching and fishing. I can be content people watching or being part of the crowd. I`m easy going and not hard to get along with. I like all kinds of music, and when I say that , I DO mean all kinds.I love Ella Fitzgerald, Eric Clapton, Delbert McClinton & Jimmy Buffet just to name a few....I miss Stevie Ray & Double Trouble....Lets not forget Ray Charles or the Nevilles...and then theres Zydeco.....My musical interests would really astound you! I`ld like to find a friend to share some happy times with. I don`t do the bar scene, been there too. Not my style. I like everything from home cooked meals to gourmet cousine, and can be happy with a bologna sandwich and a bag of chips. Life is much too short to worry about the trivial things. I try to find something good in every day, even if some of them are really, really bad. I`m a very good friend to myself and believe I could be to someone else. My favorite colors are pink and blue, favorite book is The Old Man and the Sea. Favorite foods are Maryland Crab, Medium Rare Prime Rib or Steak, NC BBQ, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts(hot) any kind of Seafood, PBJ. Favorite actors Jack Nicholson & Al Pacino. I like Greys Anatomy, House,Brothers and Sisters, October Road and despise Dr. Phil.I am not tied down by anything; pets, persons, ghosts, etc.....could relocate if I wanted. So, the balls in your court.......dribble or shoot....I`m a TAR HEEL!

First date...Hmm..Maybe out for a cup of Joe or cup of whatever. I believe you can learn more in an hour of play than in an hour of conversation. Really just depends on the person and the moment.
