I think I've got the city almost figured out, but I know I have a little ways to go still. I moved here from a very small town in Minnesota a few years ago and I've been having a good time since. I'm just a t-shirt and jeans guy who wants to meet someone who is genuine and honest and is more concerned with character and how someone makes them feel rather than how others percieve them to be. It's not to say that I don't care about appearances or success, it's just not all consuming for me. If given a choice between rich and happy, I'll take happy (within reason of course). I'm working on my environmental science degree.

I enjoy having a good time in more of the neighborhood and lounge style places. A heavy drum and bass beat isn't my thing. I watch the History channel for fun. I enjoy a really intelligent conversation or debate and have some books other than Maxim in my bathroom. I kind of like philosophy and challenging my viewpoints and others. Staying in a comfort zone and never learning anything new is a great way to stay exactly the same, which sounds boring to me.

I've got a sense of humor that is rather sarcastic and witty and I really enjoy making someone laugh. I think it's good for you to laugh at least once a day. If you value a sense of humor then I can definitely come through with that.

I'm honest almost to a fault. I try not to be blunt to the point of obnoxious, but if those pants make you look fat then I'm not going to lie and reflect your own opinion back just because you want me to.

I have six geckos. They eat fruit baby food but I think they secretly hate it as they leave half of it as if out of contempt. Maybe I just need to get different flavors.

I'm hoping to meet someone that is ready for more than just hanging out, but not wanting to rush into things too fast. I'm done with serial dating and while I want to have fun, if something more develops then that's great.

I think the whole dinner and a movie routine is old and cliche, even if it's a socially accepted stand-by. You can't really talk to someone and get to know them in a movie or while they are trying to eat. I think what makes a good date is that you get a chance to see someone for who they are and if a connection is possible.
