| | I am looking forward to the gathering on the 18th of July at Generations Bar and Grill. If you read this I hope you will attend.
Excluding love and intimacy the things I like most in life are sailing and cooking. If you have never been sailing you are missing out on one of life's most enjoyable pleasures. I love the feel of the saltwater in my face as the hull heels to the perfect pitch reducing the rudder noise to a minimum. I own a small catamaran that is literally worn out. I hope to someday own another one. There are many things about water that I enjoy. In addition to sailing I like to spear fresh ocean fish and bring it straight to the grill. Fresh flounder, snapper, amber jack, and lobster are wonderful and cooking with the right fruit woods adds that extra touch.
As for cooking, I am presently building a rolling kitchen for charities, fund raisers, and possible catering. I REALLY enjoy cooking. I have competed in competition and cooked for charity events. Anyone up for some Cajun jambalaya?
I also enjoy travel, museums, dancing, backpacking, and camping.
I am not a sports fan per say. Sure I like a good game party but I prefer to be in the kitchen. When I am home alone it is not likely I will watch a sporting event. I would prefer to watch a good movie or a cooking show. (I know some people where sports has become their drug of choice. They would lose a relationship to watch televised games all day.)
I like all animals and have had some encounters in the wild including snakes and sharks. I have two dogs, however, when they are no longer on this earth I do not anticipate replacing them. I am HIGHLY allergic to cats. My eyes swell up and I can not breathe. (Is your pet more important to you than a relationship?)Remove me from such a setting and I am fine within 5 minutes.
After an initial email contact I prefer to communicate by phone IF you are comfortable. I prefer to hear a voice before meeting someone. I am not a bad typist and am fair with spelling and grammar, however, oral communications always seems to work better. Some sites are strict about this and I am hoping it will work well with this site. (Some dating sites are a waste of time.)
As for the type of woman I like, sometimes I like her in jeans and at other times I like her to wear a skirt or dress. That would depend on the event and our mood at the time.
At present I do not have a recent photo. I will upload one soon.
Finally, there is one thing you should know about me before we meet to save us both some time. I had an accident years ago that left me blind in one eye and I wear an eye patch daily. It is maintenance to prevent complications. That may be a turn off for some but is something that I am required to do. |
