Do you want children? Does not want children

About Me
Abandoned 8 year old (in dog years) male pooch, looking for a new owner. Old Yeller-haired (groomed short right now), house broken, flea and tick free, no worms or germs, had all my shots and in good health. Not the best looking pup in the litter but not an Ugly Dachshund either. Frisky, cute, playful, loyal, honest (to fault) trustworthy, open, sensitive, caring, loving, and compassionate. No fence or yard chain required, won’t Bolt on you – not a stray. Loyal, listens well and makes a great best friend. Smart, talented, curious, inquisitive, likes to stay active (tennis, bike riding, walking, sight seeing, jogging, anything active and fun) and is always ready to play and try new and fun things. A true loving and hopeless Romantic Rin Tin Tin; (loves all that goes with a romantic relationship cards, letters, poems, flowers, gifts, surprises, holding paws, long walks, long, slow, sloppy kisses – loves to cuddle and kiss!) A great lap dog and fine canine with no baggage. I don’t have 101 Dalmatians; only two pups that are grown and on their own. I want to find someone honest and sincere and committed to a lasting relationship. I am that Romantic Rex you have been searching for and I am committed and faithful.
I am looking for a Classy Lassie that is open to my interests, as I will be to hers, and who wants to discover new, fun and exciting things together. My prized pooch-ette will be my best friend first and I will devote my time and energy to her. Hopefully we will have some things in common but I am a big believer in also being flexible and trying new things. I find honesty to be the key to any relationship. For a relationship to work, it needs that and constant open communication. I appreciate a companion who can easily smile, is not rabid (is even-tempered), takes life as it comes, has a sense of humor, can share her thoughts, has some integrity, can communicate and has some morals and real veracity. I want to find that special one to grow old with; sitting on the porch together, paw in paw, watching the sunset! The single life is a Dog’s Life. I am looking for that Lady and the Tramp love story come true!
“All right, these are the simple rules: no barking, no growling, you will not lift your leg to anything in this house, no begging for food, no sniffing of crotches, and you will not drink from my toilet. This is not your room.” (LOVE that line from Turner and Hooch!)
First Date
The Zoo, (any time of year), a bike ride on the Katy Trail or up the River Road in fall; anywhere outside. Coffee, lunch, just a meet and walk and talk at the mall. Anywhere she is comfortable is fine with me.
