I'm from Richmond, one of those rare gamer chicks. I'm artistic and love doing a lot of stuff. I've just survived hell and am now looking for friends to hang out with. I'm quite shy and nervous around new people until I get to know someone so if I'm quiet give me a little time ok?

I work full time with a little bookkeeping/accounting on the side for a business i helped start. Mixed in with that is my love of art and my hosting of gaming nights where we do everything from Rockband/console games to boardgames to D&D modules. I've got two cats who are super soft and love every lap or chair they can get at.

I love all types of food and have recently developed a love for cooking (my coworkers love my baking binges). Just don't expect me to ever eat a mushroom! I make awesome homemade pizza now - i've got the secrets ;)

For music i'm into metal, the angrier side of rock/alternative, techno/rave, and a little classical for flavour. With movies it's good stuff - no chickflicks! - I like action, sci fi, some anime, kung fu, and of course the better comic/graphic novel based movies.

Love to read sci fi/fantasy, and the dark and disturbing graphic novels. I love a lot of tv shows, but was forcefed star trek as a kidlet so now i'm hooked. That's ok. That and stargate...ah well.

I'm into astronomy, really long drives, occasional clubbing, decaf mochas, sunshine (oooh that's a big one), birds (esp raptors), and a ton of other stuff. I'm non-religious but well versed in all major and most minor religions but prefer a subtle spiritual path for myself.

I'm a bit of a geek, luckily a cute one, love learning new stuff, can fix and/or break anything, and have a particular fondness for the OOTS quote "when in doubt set something on fire!"...and I'm a bit of a dragon nut.

I don't know...not really doing first dates anymore! but i'm open to suggestions for next time...whenever the hell that'll be :P
