5 foot 2, eyes of blue...I am a very caring and gentle person. I can be shy but once you know me I'm pretty outgoing. I live in a small lake town. I like outdoor activities such as swimming, skiing, boating, camping, canoeing, or working in the yard and garden. I like dancing, get-togethers, BBQ's, socializing, going to movies, eating out, concerts or plays, going to antique store, flea markets and garage sale...love to find that one exceptional item and pay little for! I like to cook and do a pretty good job but would rather my man show me what he can do! I like sports, playing sports and watching sports. I would love to join a co-ed softball team although it has been a few years since I have played. I would love to be out on the lake or taking a ride on a motorcycle through the serene countryside. I have just acquired 16 acres and would love to build a home for myself and/or build to rent log cabins. Right now, it's just a dream. :( I would love to have a working farm or ranch, I love animals, (especially dogs), but would be as comfortable in a town/city. My hobbies include crafts, playing the piano, history, gardening, landscaping and genealogy. As far as looks, I've been told many times, "You don't look old enough to have a 29-year-old son!" I'm fairly fit but still trying to knock off a few pounds and firm up by riding my bike! Hopefully, back to the gym this fall.

For the first date, it would be nice to meet in a public place, possibly eat some appetizers and talk. If our personalities click, let's go for a movie, dinner or a walk to talk more. Let's get to know each other and learn what our personalities are like and I don't necessarily think that can happen on initial meeting. I know distance can be a problem at first BUT it would be possible to meet halfway for starters.
