I am hoping meet some quality people to become friends with. I moved out here from SLa Jolla, CA last year with my two dogs, which I completely adore. If you don't like animals, and dogs in particular, I am probably not for you. I spend alot of time on walks, at the park playing frisbee,fetch, etc. I work from my house so my time is flexible.

When I am not busy with "dogfun" activities or work (I own my own biz), I enjoy painting (I paint on glass and build furniture) and also run a small art gallery ouf of my house. I like going to NYC and walking around exploring galleries, museums, bookstores, paper shops, parks, pearl paint on canal st, random building lobbies, public art, subway stations, cafes/lounges, churches, and select random stores. I am a fan of window shopping, enjoy outdoor spaces (underground ones even more), I could live my life by candle light , love to eat fresh fruit,nuts (just not in my food!), oatmeal, pizza, ice cream, creme brulee, and almost anything that is banana flavored.

I speak four languages, attended an Ivy League University, and have lived and studied in several foreign countries. I also enjoy drinking red wine entirely too much for my own good. My family is a big part of my life and I have 3 nieces that are absolutely incredible.

I am a huge fan of Family Guy, Boston Legal, late night PBS(no I dont' have cable,it's evil...but still), playing backgammon (game anyone?? no really.. does anyone wanna play regularly??), my blackberry (crackberry),the sound of a piano, guitar (I play a little), fuzzy leopard print pj pants (I own a pair and relish them), Yankees (yes, I went there), Laker games ( I am from Cali remember??), and the feel of soft sand under my feet (which I think is a foreign concept in NJ where apparently u have to pay and wear a wristbannd to go on the beach??? WTF !!)

And if you have read this far .. which is impressive; I tend to be attracted to intelligent, articulate, FUN, unpretentious, spontantious people. If you speak more than one language, odds are that we have things in common and would get along. If you have travelled and appreciate exploring good foods,cultures, etc.. we're a match.

In my pic you can't really tell that my hair is long (it's pulled back) .. I also have a tongue piercing (yikes!!) and a couple tattoos.. so if you are looking for a suit and tie type of fella to take home to mom.. keep fishing !!! (I bet your mom would LOVE me regardless!!) I clean up well when I need to, but I am most comfortable in jeans and a botton down shirt. I am way beyond trying to impress anyone with my attire, my mode of transportation, where I live, or the size of my feet !!!

If you are more interested in "stuff" rather than substance.. again, ... keep fishing !!! I would rather meet ONE quality person on here than a bunch or randoms that I have no connection with at all. Does this resonate at all??? If so please find me. Life is waaaay too short to spend it on sites like this don't ya think?!?

I am looking to make some new friends (not random hook-ups) so an ideal first date would be something simple, casual, and fun. We could possibly meet up for hot chocolate (huge fan), or take my dogs (and yours?) to play at the park, perhaps meet at a gallery or exhibit? catch a local show ?? (I enjoy live-music) ...any of those would be great. I am very easy-going, fun,.. bordeline goofy, and I am content just sitting on a park bench if I had good company (and often even without).
