I look at the glass half-full, as opposed to half-empty, like to laugh, have a good sense of humor. I command respect, therefore I give the same in return. Have always been a gentleman and I know how to treat a woman. Had a very happy and proud career in Law Enforcement and am retired now. Spend much of my time with my two sons, that I have custody of. Enjoy the martial arts, sports, fishing in the summer also consider myself a beach-nut or anything to do with the bay or ocean. Love fast cars, and I own one. Spend much of my time cruising on weekends in my 1970 classic muscle car. Go to classic car shows, sometimes entering my car in the contest. I enjoy a variety of music ie; Billy Joel, Beach Boys, Chicago, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and then back to Led Zepplin or Boston, The Who. If I'm with someone special, it doesn't really matter whether you're home having a glass of wine, or tearing it up on the dance floor, or driving fast with the windows down listening to oldies, with your hair blowing around. If you care for each other and the feeling is right, it shouldn't matter where you are on the planet. As long as you're both happy.

A first date should almost always be either for drinks or dinner, or both. Most important it should be in an atmosphere, where you can look at each other and carry on a nice conversation. A place you can actually hear each other talk. Not a place blasting loud music where you have to shout at each other. The movies is another place you don't want to take a first date. You don't get anything accomplished at a movie. You're both staring at a screen and nither one of you are talking. The whole idea is to get know and respect each other.
