The famous person I resemble most in both looks and personality is Kevin James ("Doug Heffernan" from the King of Queens..."Albert Brennaman" from Hitch...and Paul Blart, Mall Cop). I've learned to embrace my "inner Doug". I'm a big kid at heart, but with a serious side.
I'm an uncle to 3 little nieces, and I never thought that a sports-minded lunkhead like myself could connect so well with girlie-girls like them. It's made me believe that I'll be a good Dad. I was raised by parents who work as team, and that's my goal as well.
I like writing, biking, softball, tennis, movies, Phillies, Eagles, Penn State (The 'Gaff), the beach, The Lobster House in Cape May, ballpark food at Wrigley Field in Chicago, warmer weather...and I "dig" playing co-ed volleyball...especially in the sand.
I've had some fun "Suburban Camping" trips out west to Yosemite National Park, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Moab (Canyonlands National Park & Dead Horse Point State Park), Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Oregon. The overlook at Yosemite right across from Half Dome is pretty neat...especially when the sunset catches the rocks just right, making them a light shade of orange. Suburban Camping is when you spend a full day of hiking, biking and/or photography out in the wild...then after sunset...come back to the hotel for a hot shower, cool drinks, air conditioning, cable TV and a hoagie.
I hate to admit it, but a lot of my favorite music is from the 80's...especially the cheesy stuff. Same goes for movies. And I may have to turn in my "Man Card" for saying this, but I’d often rather see a chick flick (romantic comedy) in the mold of Fools Rush In, My Best Friend’s Wedding, About a Boy...or Serendipity...as opposed to a meathead kung fu / car chase movie with no plot. Then again…I'd definitely have to draw the line at something like Fried Green Potatoes, Steel Petunias or Beaches. There’s a chance I might grow an ovary if I watched any of THEM to completion!
I'm trying to write a "true story" book about a securities fraud case that I helped solve - sort of a mini-version of what happened with Bernie Madoff and Enron. Fingers crossed if I get it finished later this year...and hopefully eventually published. It’s a crazy enough story that I could really see it made into a movie some day – especially with all the recent interest in Wall Street fraud...corporate greed…and the crooks behind a lot of it.
My goal as an aspiring author/scriptwriter is to take an idea from my head…and get it into the reader’s/viewer’s heart...while taking them on an emotional journey. I can already see the final 3 minutes of “my movie”...in my head...with the closing song and credits rolling. LOL – Anyone know a slick Hollywood producer?
I love dogs and cats. I've had both at various times - but none now. Each have admirable qualities. I like the way most dogs just seem to be unconditionally playful and affectionate...while cats can play hard to get. But if you can win over a cat...then they're your friend for life.

I'm interested in meeting someone who is ambitious and fun, who can be both serious and lighthearted, spunky and nice, and who can potentially see themselves as part of a family...
There's a lot of fun stuff to do out there - it's even better with someone special...
