A bit about me, just to be honest. Looks like my honesty is not very popular...

If you are looking for someone to build your world around stop reading now. I am not the one for you. I like men who have their own world. Their own friends. Their own hobbies. It's great that we have a few things in common we can do together and respect our differences. I value my alone time... as should you. After 10 years alone it's going to take some time to get use to having someone around on any level.

You also need to know I am NOT uber affectionate. I have my moments, but I don't enjoy having someone draped all over me. I believe two people can sit across the room from one another not say a word and still have a very strong friendship/relationship. They don't have to be touching or cuddling all the time. I can be cuddly once I am with the right person.

I just want to be very upfront about who I am, so there are real expectations. I am looking for friendship for a very real reason. I think relationships grow best out of friendships, when there is a certain chemistry in that friendship. Time will either make that friendship more...or it will keep the friendship as it is. But either way. Nothing is lost.

MY passion is my parrots. I have a lot of them of different species. They are my children and are not an option. I don't breed birds, rather I offer them a home for life. People have been bringing me their parrots for the last 7 years. I love my birds as children... so you have to understand that too. I also have 3 Poodles. I like most critters, even cats, but due to having so many birds, cats and I are not really compatible.
