My job has kept me busy and I thought I'd give this a try. After taking a break from dating for 4 years, my heart has fully healed and I'm ready to give it another shot! I've got great family & friends plus a fantastic career. I would love to share it with a special person.

I'm outgoing and down to Earth person (rarely I can be a little shy at first though). I do my best to be kind to others, just the way I was brought up. I guess my job, clinical pharmacist, also helps bring out my caring nature, ha ha. I'm told I have wonderful manners (open doors, respectful, bring flowers, etc.). I love to make others laugh (and laughing with others)! I enjoy surprising people; I'm not really a "planner" person, consequently I'm spontaneous, and do things on a spur-of-the-moment. My family and friends are important to me. I have disdain being treated poorly, disrespectfully, or taking advantage of my kindness. I treat a woman like a queen.

I listen to punk/punk rock/ska music (however, I'll listen to anything). I enjoy going to Chicago to see a concert, show, or play. Speaking of Chicago, I'm a huge Chicago sports fan - Bears, Blackhawks, Cubs, Bulls (in that order). I am open-minded to trying new things. I find appreciation in discovering a new place to eat, hang out, or even a new band. I take pleasure in playing football or ice hockey with friends. Not only is it enjoyable to be around friends, it is a great way to keep in shape! My brother and I actually joined a football league this summer which was a blast. Yes, I shaved my head this summer for my mom's 10 year remission from breast cancer. I'm bad at writing things about myself, but feel free to ask me anything.

So what am I looking for?

I am looking for an honest woman. A woman who is willing to get out of that daily rut and try something new! Enjoys going out to eat/dancing/etc (i.e. sociable and can hold a conversation) but at the same time has no problem with, here comes the cliché, of doing dinner and movie at home. Hopefully has a career or at least has a sense of direction/goals. Intelligence is very attractive to me! Enjoys traveling - Chicago for the day, visit other cities/states, or even countries. Who wouldn't enjoy a quick weekend or 3 day trip to somewhere like Boston, Seattle, or Washington DC? I'd love to see Europe (Italy, Germany, Spain, France, etc.). A good sense of humor.
