Ok, I'm supposed to talk about my hobbies, goals and aspirations, what makes me unique and of course last but not least the secret to my soul.....my taste in music? Oh, the pressure!!

Interested in adventure and having that perfect match along for the ride, you know, that one person in your life than can practically read your thoughts with one glance in your direction? Sharing secrets that nobody else will understand, especially those silly inside jokes that are not only humorous but a little reminder of how the two of you are connected. That kind of esp also comes in handy when evading the Mexico City Police at 3 in the morning. Eh, I'm joking. It was only 10pm and it was just a traffic cop in Peoria and it only happened twice. Ok, it never happened but I can see where esp would come in handy if something went down. Point being....what was my point? Ah yes, adventure + perfect match x esp = good wholesome entertainment.

I have been called a romantic, friendly and funny. love a good joke and on occasion I've been known to laugh so hard I snort....in a really, really attractive way of course. At times I consider myself to be optimistic for no particular reason and can be a complete skeptic when something just doesn't seem right. I find myself not having a choice but believing in the better nature of others and unless it has absolutely been proven otherwise beyond a reasonable doubt, I take the side of those important to me no matter what. A shoulder to cry on during difficult times and someone to brag to when you accomplish something important and I will be just as happy as you are.

When it's not hot as an oven the desert is a beautiful place to hike and explore and to be honest I haven't done it enough, I just know that when I do I love it. I've lived here for 13 years and there is still a part of me deep down inside that says every day "I live in Arizona?". Now, I say this while it's cool out. In the summer I may feel a little differently until the monsoon storms come through, one of these days I know I'm going to be struck by lightening as the excitement of the elements (yes, even the dust storms) whirls around and the combination of feeling the warm breeze, cool rain drops and watching the light show is just too inviting not to at least take a step outside.

Traveling is one of my favorite activities and I never get to do enough of it. Even though I do have some rather obvious holes in my travelness. For example, I've been to Fiji, I've been to New Caledonia (oh yeah, it's a real place, I didn't make it up) but I've never been to New York. Don't you think there is something wrong with that picture? That's actually something I'm kind of ashamed about and one day I'm going to fix it. That is if something better doesn't come along, as has in the past: Peru, Australia and Japan, the further away seems to usually be the better choice. Oh well, one of these days I'll take a bite outta 'dat damn apple! I have been fortunate enough to have been able to venture to 5 continents but still yearn to see more including Antarctica. The countries highest on the list currently are (it's ever changing) Czech Republic (Prague, Paris of the East), China and Russia, but it's really a long list and like I said, it changes often. Hey, the Caribbean is always a good time too.

I do enjoy music, I'm not going to list any specific type, I just like music. I do like to go to dive bars, especially when they have a dive band to go along with it. Something about a band you never heard of pouring their blood, sweat and tears into cover songs of Bon Jovi, AC/DC and Led Zeppelin then all of the sudden shift gears and throw in Simple Minds or The Cure. It's a wonderful crazy world out there!

What I'm looking for is at first friendship. I marked my profile as such but I really wish they would give you a multiple choice option. Anyway, looking to meet some new friends and if there was an attraction than I'm open to pursuing that, it's a dating site after all.

I just read an article today that Nicholas Cage had to sell one of his castles because of the economy. I read this in the comments section:

"I don't want to live in a world where Nic Cage can only have one castle."

Me neither, dam you, economy! dam you to he!!

Sometimes it's the little things like sharing with friends or that special someone comments from an on line article about Nic Cage unable to hold onto his two castles and having a little chuckle over it. Even in times of uncertainty we can find humor. Don't worry about Mr. Cage, he's doing fine.

How about something different? Say, Toilet Papering my boss' house? It's a great way to see how adventurous, possibly criminal your potential partner might be. Of course this is an excellent time to have a whispering conversation to get to know each other.

Seriously though (or wasn't I?) I'd like to find something that is a balance of having the opportunity to get to know each other yet possibly something memorable that the two of us can look back on fondly and not say to each other "Where was our first date?". I don't know, I like to be cautiously optimistic and like the thought of creating a memory of that first meeting. Of course it's really between the two of us to cherish that initial spark and where ever it happens is secondary.
