I don’t think I really know a good way of describe myself… My first instinct is to tell you of all the wonderfully positive things about myself but that feels a little narcissist and oddly self-serving. So, maybe I should sprinkle in a few self-deprecating traits as well, but I’m afraid many won’t know I’m being tongue-in-check getting the impression that I’m some sort of a manic depressant. So maybe it’s not the best thing to try and be too clever or give a clever angle when describing myself but rather be a bit more strait forward. Well... here’s my attempt …
First, I would say I'm a very easy-going, laid back guy. (However, I’ve noticed of people describing themselves as laid-back. Could it possible be that many laid back people out there could it? Not when it seems as though the whole world is on the verge of exploding in chaos.) I digress... A few things I like to do: hanging out with friends (good ones are hard to find but are worth the search), going to the movies (though I'm disappointed in many of them), working out at the gym (although I've been getting a little lazy lately), relaxing at home with someone special (maybe that's you?)
I'd like to try new things, so if you've got an interesting hobby and would like some company to share it with, I'm game... I'd like to broaden my horizons; I've been in the same routine for far too long.

Currently, I'm an independent contractor and have been in the flooring industry for a number of years and it's been fairly good to me... But I'm thinking of going back to school this fall and start building a foundation for a second career. Plus it won't hurt to workout this useless muscle above my shoulders before it begins to atrophy, I figure.
