I'm not your typical woman! I work with adults with intellectual disabilities, (including mental retardation, Down syndrome, & autism) as a case manager. It's not glamorous, but I love it. I'm close to my small family who live in Ohio. I enjoy reading, hockey, basketball, football, cooking/baking, travel, movies, trivia, concerts, classic rock (Clapton, Van Halen, Queen, Zeppelin, Eagles (HATE the Beatles!!), 80's & country music. I grow my hair out for Locks of Love (makes wigs for children with cancer), then chop it off and do it again. I'm intelligent, fun-loving, honest, sarcastic, a smartass, a great kisser, have a wicked sense of humor, and am a terrible liar. Basically, I'm the girl next door :)

Some of my favorite things? My 4 year old niece (I love kids!), unsweet iced tea, leaves changing in autumn, winter (the colder the weather, the better!), black turtleneck sweaters, tomatoes, farmers markets, books, wood fires, good guys, bad jokes, laughing until my stomach hurts, kissing, cuddling, demolition derbies, thunderstorms, cornhole (love it, but I'm not very good), roller coasters, THE Ohio State Buckeyes and Columbus Blue Jackets, playing pool, road trips, candlelight, flying, Phantom of the Opera, Mexican and Italian food, large dogs, the sound/sight/smell of the beach. I like motorcycles, fast cars, and classic cars.

What don't I like? Ignorance, NASCAR, mushrooms, the color pink, snakes, sushi, smoking, pop, dishonesty, grocery shopping, any retail establishment between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the movies Grease and Christmas Story, coffee. Random list, yes, I know :)

I am most comfy in jeans and tshirt/hoodie and have a very laid back personality. I am an educated, intelligent, funny, honest, faithful, monogamous, independent, employed, stable woman (NOT 'crazy' or psychotic, NEVER been arrested, NOT clingy, NOT looking for someone to pay my bills or support me, NOT the jealous type, NO tattoos, NO weird piercings, NO crazy exes...not too many around that can truthfully say these things!). I don't do the 'bar thing'. I guess those could be considered rather unique characteristics after seeing some of the people on here!! I'm not high maintenance, but that's not to say there's no maintenance involved :) I love to travel and will go almost anywhere at least once. I'm terrified of boats, so me in a boat is not happening! I love 'guy' humor and stupid-funny movies (Napoleon Dynamite, Animal House, Beerfest, Spinal Tap). I love watching terrible horror and zombie movies, movies where the whole point is just to blow stuff up, as well as the classics. I love old cartoons (Transformers, Scooby, Smurfs)! I'm the girl who looks like a nut singing for all I'm worth in the car, but I'm smart enough not to torture the general public with my gross lack of singing ability. During the seasons, I could spend all day watching football, basketball, or hockey. We can watch some games...I'll bring you a beer or 3...Hell, I'll even bake you some brownies or cookies to enjoy during the game!! I am a FANTASTIC baker :) What's that saying about the way to a man's heart...?

I'm looking for dating that might lead to long-term, and would love to find that one special guy. Not looking for the perfect guy, but the guy who is perfect for me. Making new friends is also welcome. Manners and honesty are musts, but are there any good men who can be bad boys out there?? I'm a private person and shy until I get to know someone, but never have a problem saying exactly what I think.

I'm not looking for just a 'booty call'! I'm a one-man woman and believe if you want to cheat, you shouldn't be in a relationship. Period.

Who knows? Something fun where we can get to know each other. Dinner, drinks, meet at a coffee/teashop, maybe a movie (drive-in would be fun), concert, comedy show, play some pool, a ballgame, hitting golf balls at the driving range, putt putt, a movie/pizza, or just hang out and chat somewhere. If we're comfortable and it's the right time of year, drive up to a ballgame (NBA/NFL/NHL), snow tubing at Paoli...It's more important who you're with than what you do...What are you interested in?? As long as it doesn't involve me in a boat, I'm willing to consider it :) I try to find fun and humor in just about everything, so make me laugh!!
