| | Several years ago a friend got me started on reading Danielle Steel books and that became a real passion for years and then another friend got me started on reading Nora Roberts and JD Robb so that became my new passion. I still try to find time to read between work and spending time with my kids and grandchildren. I love to cook and bake for the kids and they love me too.
I've already reached many of my goals in life accept for those that will have to wait until I can retire and hopefully I stay healthy so I can accomplish them. I would love to travel and see parts of our country that I have never seen, which is quite a bit.
I've been a widow for sixteen years and have become pretty independent. I raised four children for about 11 of those years. I call myself a survivor, and some days I wandered if I would survive those teen years.
I like country music and the oldies. I have been to a couple concerts in the past and I'm going to go see Brooks and Dunn this Summer. |

My idea of a first date would be to meet at a restaurant and go dutch-treat on a meal. It would give both parties a chance to meet, have some conversation, and decide without obligation whether to pursue dating. |
