Remember all of those wonderful things we once thought mundane, holding hands, laughing and sharing our hopes and dreams? We've had the responsibilities of raising families and working, now it's time for us. This transplanted Alaskan loves to go fishing , or drive to the coast, find an out of the way diner that serves the 'blue plate' special; laugh, make mad passionate crazy love with my last best friend and lover. To grab a flight and take off with nothing but each other. Flipping a coin to see who has to go out in the rain to get the Sunday paper while the other lies in the warm bed...Large family picnics and gatherings of all kinds and most of all being with the one I love and admire playing cards(cribbage) or scrabble on a rainy afternoon.

My idea of a perfect first date after the initial 'coffee'is an active one...I love to stroll through museums; I love the Sat. markets; Pike'Place and out of the way small towns. Hikes, learning something, fishing... Picnics or the local pub can give you time to relive the fun of the date and by that time I think most people are more comfortable. I think this takes the pressure off and can give you someone to laugh with. Save the fancy dinner and dancing for a more intimate time...
