I'm pretty happy and satisfied except for a strong desire to care for and share a life with a loving man.

I'm enthusiastic, sensual, energetic, bright, healthy, affectionate, intuitive, earthy, empathic, and generally good natured. I enjoy simple pleasures such as; listening to music (so many kinds), taking long walks, and meeting up with friends (to draw, eat, or just talk and be together). I make art often; large charcoals, oil paintings, sculpture in the past. I'm a consummate nester and enjoy a comfy home and work to make my old house just that. I'm told that I am comfortable to be with and talk to. I hope that's true. I am highly adaptable and pretty unconventional.

Occasionally, I enjoy getaways to the country, a small town, a big city, or destinations which include: nature, art, antiques, a picnic, an out-of-the-way restaurant (always looking to be pleasantly surprised), live (small venue) performance, or a spectacular garden. I love and look forward to all of the seasons(although February always seems too long.) I'm comfortable in hiking boots (my preference) or high heels (look really good in them).

I like cooking BIG and having a gathering of friends for a feast, maybe with a gourmet touch (but no pretense), or a bbq, or maybe some soulfood, and LOTS of conversation. In fairer months we would definitely be in my yard/garden. I just love that. My lifestyle and sensibilities have a slight European flavor.

I tend to like men who are confident, intelligent, sensitive, sensual, good natured, healthy, energetic, and who have an open mind and generous spirit. Funny is also great, especially since I think I'm very funny! (Didn't come across so far? Darn! Trust me.)

I am open to many new experiences and adventures (although, I don't see myself jumping out of planes any time soon).
