I enjoy travelling, sports (soccer, basketball, golfing, rafting, parasailing and jet skiing), movies & theatre, concerts & museums, dining and going mostly to pubs; not big into the club scene anymore. Also enjoy cooking (it relaxes me), reading, discussing current issues, mini-vacations on long weekends (East Coast or Europe).

I am originally from Athens, Greece. I moved to the US for college and ended up staying here. I became a US citizen in September of 2007, something I'm very proud of (if you're wondering what the pic with the lady shaking hands is, she's the judge who sworn us in handing me my Certificate of Naturalization). I work as a software tester/trainer for a local firm and it's the most challenging position I ever held in my 11-year career. I hope to one day establish a sort of a "corporate training insitution" in my current firm, to make employees' training more precice and more efficient; something that would not only educate them to carry out their everyday jobs, but to also help them excel in their careers. After all, things are almost always simpler than we think (or make them to be).

My friends and family have used quite a few adjectives in describing me, including genuine, gregarious, brutally honest, trustworthy, a good listener, reliable and spontaneous, impatient, and analytical (I'm working on the last two!!). Once I was described as "not the typical Greek male". I am always on the go and I love doing things, be it remodeling my house or taking a day trip to Newport, RI, but I also like to relax with a good movie and good glass of wine (or scotch!). I enjoy all kinds of music, from Mozart to Nightwish. Music is like good wine - it depends on the occassion and the mood. So, if you think you can handle a loud Greek-American, there it is!

PS: Although I love animals, I am deathly allergic to cats.

That pretty much depends on the girl I meet. I'm pretty spontaneous and open to suggestions based on her interests/hobbies, so we can talk about that later.
