I recently heard from someone that one in eight marriages last year was the result of Internet dating. I’ve been on and off this site for a couple years now and I truly believe that it is one of the best ways for busy professionals to meet. I am still hopeful that my “match” is out there.

I am a High School Special Education teacher by day and an aerobics instructor by night. I have been teaching for 13 years and truly love my career. I have spent a great deal of time working with kids during the summer in addition to the school year. One of the things I am most proud of is running a summer camp for kids with disabilities for 10 years. The downside is all of this has left little time for dating at times. I am at the point where I would like to meet someone with whom I can share my life. I’m not looking to rush into anything and I don’t really believe in love of first sight. I am a very honest and caring person and am looking for those same qualities in a partner. I also value being active and physically fit and work out regularly teaching 4-6 aerobics classes each week.

I enjoy a variety of activities from dressing up and going to the theater, playing cards/pool/darts, live music, wine tasting, sporting events, comedy clubs or just staying home watching a movie. I am looking for someone who is educated, financially and emotionally secure, open-minded and understanding, and confident about who he is and where he is going in life. Nobody is perfect and communication is the most important part of any relationship. I want to be with someone who is sincere and doesn't play games, life is too short for games.
