| | Well - let's see. I hit the "big 50" this year - kind of makes you take a look at your life - where you've been and where you want to go next. I've decided it's time to get back out there and meet some new people - experience some new adventures - hopefully with some new friends. I believe you need to be friends before you can be anything else - although that doesn't mean you can't flirt with your friends - right?
It's taken me a while, but I am now comfortable in my own skin - hoping to meet someone who is comfortable in theirs. Although I used to be the queen of organization and order, I now "fly by the seat of my pants" - and am loving it! By no means am I disorganized - just not rigid about it.
They say necessity is the mother of invention - well I am a believer in that as I now enjoy tackling improvements to my home that I can handle - I have surprised myself with what I have been able to accomplish so far...who knows what I'll try next -but- if the Northeast goes into a blackout - please don't blow me in - ok?
I enjoy live music - all types - from rock to country, the blues, reggae - Recorded - throw in a little Van Morrison, Nickelback. Melissa Etheridge. DMB, a little Jimmy Buffett and I'm happy. I don't care for rap - or Big Band.
I like to watch the sunrise over the ocean (who doesn't, right?) - but I really love watching the moon come up over the water - that is a beautiful sight - especially if it's shared.....
I like the serenity of fishing - love to go boating - I can learn to be a great first mate!
I would like to learn to ride a bike - having that power beneath you on the open road is something I'm hoping to do. |

If the weather was warmer, I'd suggest meeting by a lake. Since it is turning colder, perhaps somewhere to grab a cup of coffee and some conversation - hopefully an interesting location midway between us. If all goes well - then make plans from there. If the connection is there, I'm sure we'll agree on something to do next. |
