I love to dance. I started ballroom dancing 11 months ago and go dancing frequently. I also stay fit by walking and working out. I enjoy doing projects around the house. I love to travel, both domestically and internationally. I also like fine dining, beaches, kayaking, and bicycling.

One of my goals was to retire early from my engineering career and I was able to do that 2 years ago.

My tastes in music range from rock to blues to jazz.

I'm looking to meet someone who is a classy, intelligent, fun, active, and interesting person who has the time, emotional availability, and desire for a close relationship. Someone who also likes to travel would be a plus.

My retirement has afforded me the opportunity to develop an active social life with my friends. While I'm eventually looking to forge a serious relationship when I meet the right man; I'm the type of woman who enjoys taking things slowly at the beginning, seeing each other once or twice a week, until we get to know each other better. If, after several months, we have created a friendship (because that's ultimately where a relationship starts) and find that we have mutual attraction AND compatibility, then we can see where that takes us. Ultimately, I am looking to create a lasting relationship with the right person.

On a first date, I'd love to get to know you better (as to what makes you tick and who and what experiences made you who you are today). Therefore, I think a quiet venue where we could talk would be ideal. Meeting over coffee or a drink would be a great place to start.
