I am an American living overseas with no plans to return to America. I am able to relocate almost anywhere in the world but at present intend to stay in Europe. Relocating within Europe is a definite option if the situation calls for it.

I am healthy, fit, and active; like the city, countryside, seaside, and mountains, meandering in bookstores, talking or just people watching in quiet pubs or cafes, and taking long walks along the river or canal. My favorite outdoor activity is hiking/walking/rambling and my favorite pastime is traveling-- international travel, backpacking & independent, i.e., no package tours, resort hotels or cruises. I also like biking, warm sunny places, and swimming in the sea. I love serious literature, art, film, and music. Travel is central to my life. I love being in the wilderness, hiking or cross country skiing. I love the sea as well. I hope to relocate to a warm, sunny region. At present I find the Mediterranean area very desirable. I love outdoor cafes, swimming in the sea, walking/hiking, the Mediterranean diet, history, and so on.

Men who are politically liberal, open minded, generous spirited, still learning, well read (self or formally educated) and adventurous are most appealing. Intelligence, character and humor (mine is sarcastic and dry) are very important. As far as specifics, a man with whom I am compatible and who shares a basic vision about how he wants to live would be the right man. I hope to find the last and best love of my life.

I am interested in meeting someone who lives in Europe now or who wants to, someone who is able to relocate to Europe, and someone who travels frequently or wants to. I am a teacher and love kids. If you have children or grandchildren, that is definitely not a problem for me.
