I have two boys that keep me busy and balanced, but I still miss the companionship of someone special. We recently relocated back here to NC, after many years and living in various states.

I prefer to smile and "assume the best". As they say, "everytime you worry and complain for a minute, is 60 seconds of happiness you can't get back". In a relationship, I would hope to bring lots of encouragement, affection, and smiles into someone's life...mixed with plenty of memorable moments and intimacy. Two people should be good alone, but GREAT together!

I grew up in a traditional family, that still shows a lot of love, humor,and support. My parents have been married for 57 yrs; I admire their integrity , dedication to each other, and the values they took the time to "teach by example".

I love being outdoors (grew up along the beaches and in a river town)...so water sports, skiing , beach, etc. are home to me. Anything including music, sporting events,camping,biking,boating,new hobbies,etc. makes me smile. Exploring new areas, on weekend get-aways, is another great "escaper" together.

I enjoy the one-on-one, sincere, "discovery" first date. There is that indescribable spark and connection, that is still hard to figure out.(I want to though...so I can bottle it up, and make a million!) It sure is breath-taking if/when it happens though ~~
