It's rather senseless to write a profile-most people pay little to no attention to them what-so-ever, but here for your entertainment and requirements...

You can not make someone love you...You can not take a heart and make it your own...Until the heart is ready for LOVE you need patience, understanding, and a wild desire to give. It takes kindness~ acting like a child~ being able to communicate~ and complete respect. It takes nurturing~ hoping each day gives you the strength to endure the trials and tribulations~ knowing once your head hits the pillow, and the flesh is close, the mind is clear, then love can and will be there for greatness.

I like simple things, rain on a tin roof, freshly mowed lawns, walks anywhere, anytime, holding hands and just being close. I love to sing karaoke and have been told I have a great voice. I mainly sing country music~ but of course like any parent the radio in the car is FAIR GAME and sometimes you sing their songs. I like to write & read poetry, it's been awhile since I had any inspirational thoughts to put onto page. I have become somewhat of an amateur photographer. I also like to cook, but living alone it's hard to get inspired to cook for one!

I'd like to find a duet partner~ someone to go singing with me, help inspire my thoughts, strike a perfect poise, and help me concoct something truly tasteful in the kitchen. I'm fairly stable minded and able to do my own thinking. I've always been good at solving problems but I've never been good at loneliness. My kids are gone from home~ and I'm going crazy with EMPTY NEST SYNDROME.

I really want to start experiencing life. I've always worked, always been someone’s daughter, wife, mother. I'm a dis-organized organized person. I have a pile system! Normally my home is surface clean cluttered. I won't ever need CLEAN HOUSE to tape an episode, but If the dust bunnies and spider-webs are present and bother you then by all means grab a rag and get rid of them. I can stay in my pj's all day if there is no reason to get out of them, but I'm dependable~ if you ask me for anything I'm there and ready to help.

I've always had a desire to travel! And I've hosted foreign exchange students & I'd like to visit their countries. I also want to drive across America some day.


Well, I have children so I have a past! And at our age I'm semi-certain most of us do. Life isn't over til it's over and I want to make the best of what I have left. I'd rather do it with the company of someone special. For most of us good things have happened , along with bad it's just part of what makes us all unique. You have to learn to jump hurdles~ if you fall get back up and start again. Right or wrong I have this personal ad and I hope to at least find some friends. You've only got three choices in life; give in, give up, or give it all you've got.

I'm sort of old fashioned- I'd much prefer the gentleman to plan the date. However the first meet/encounter should be somewhere public, half way between both parties, and Dutch.
