Love the outdoors and have been sailing for years. Most of my free time in the nice weather is spent hiking with my dog, running, and trying to get out on the water. I live near NYC and also love its cultural outlets. I have not followed a straight path in life - have changed careers a few times - so I don't see things as either black or white. Travel is also a passion and I would love to find a great travel partner. Seems like a lot of guys here are "just looking" and don't make the effort to talk or even meet.There is something unexplainable about what creates chemistry between two people. Physical chemistry is important but equally important is intellectual chemistry and the abitlity to have a stimulating conversation. curiosity and in interest in the world, the environment, other cultures is a big plus. Just looking for an educated, normal guy who likes to have fun and is not afraid of a relationship!!

Really "what" you do on a first date is not as important as the connection. A place where people can talk is probably best. A first date is really to see if there is enough interest for a second date and hopefully two people can just talk, laugh, goof around without it feeling like an interview. All the important information will come out over time.........
