I'm a self confident widow who has reached a point in life where I finally realize that the kids are grown and it is time to move on with life and focus on enhancing the second part of my life. I spent 26 yrs with a wonderful African American man whom I loved deeply, but since his death have come to realize that life must now go on. My hope is to enjoy everyday of my life, live in the moment and hopefully share it with someone who shares the same values in a friendship and/or relationship. While I've not had much success in finding a man who is interested in the above - I know there has to be at least one out there!

UPDATE: I have practiced what I've been preaching and there is at least one out there and I've found him. I'll be limiting my time on POF and wish everyone out there success in whatever it is that you are seeking... (by the way, the ONE I found wasn't even online - he's right in my own town) Good Luck...
