Hello... Let's see here. I'm a quick-witted, practical guy with a knack for fixing and creating cool things, usually while delivering a non-stop barrage of wisecracks.
I'm a very "diverse" person, as in, "The longer you listen to me, 'diverse' my jokes get." Sorry... but I love puns.

I love riding my motorcycle in the early spring to late fall, just for the simple joy of finding a road I've never been on before. (10-09- the beast in going into winter hibernation soon. It's just too dang cold.)

My taste in music is eclectic- it runs from Country or Irish when I'm in a good mood to Rammstein when I'm not. I can play a little bit of fiddle. I go to a Country bar a fair lot, and I do a lot of couples dances (no line stuff anymore).

My great "rushes" in life are learning new hands-on skills and applying them to solve problems for people. I love being around intelligent, or more properly, clever people. A person whose depth of intellect surprises me is a real treat. Friendly verbal fencing matches are fun, as long as it's kept friendly.

I'm in search of a woman who is personally very grounded and stable, who sees value in a life lived simply, practically, and well. Liberals/progressives/ whatever they like to call themselves probably won't find much here for them. In fact, some of them have been horrified to find out that somebody like me really exists! Even-temperedness (is that even a word?) is important.... mood swings and people who fly off the handle scare me! I'm also looking for someone to show me something new to do... preferably outside the city. Sarcasm, cleverness, and wit are very cool, as long as you know when to "pull the claws in".

I am honorable and loyal to a fault. I'll do almost anything to help and protect the ones I love, but what I ask in return is that you be dead-level honest with me about everything, the sooner the better. There's nothing worse than finding out that the way you thought things were, isn't. Please, if you want to tell me something, just say it. Or make the hints real strong, and I'll try to meet you halfway.

Really, this is going to have to depend on the circumstance and the person. I have no problem going out for a nice dinner, or just for coffee/beer/your libation of choice. Only thing is, I really would prefer to be somewhere quiet where we can actually talk. It's been a never ending frustration for me trying to talk to women in bars.
