Hey there...I'm one of thos mythical creatures your moms have told you about - I'm an honest, nice, kind guy who would be loyal and not cheat, and treat a girl/woman (whatever you think of yourself at this point) with respect. Why am I still single and on here? Because there seem to be tons of women out there who don't practice what they preach: they say they're looking for the good guy, but keep passing right on by the good ones, and worse, don't respond when a guy like me emails them on this site. So I'm looking for a lady who is actually smart and sensible enough to realize she's encountered a good guy. Maybe that's you?

A few things to know:

- Though raised Catholic, I don't necessarily limit myself to just that kind of belief, and am not uber religious
- Though I chose "long-term", "dating" is okay too
- I'm fine with all kinds of pets, except dragons
- People think I'm pretty funny - my sense of humour can run from being dry and sarcastic to really zany. I mostly like rock and alternative rock, but good sound is good sound regardless of genre. I actually wear glasses most of the time I'm out.

Family and friends (what few of them I have) is quite important to me - I am a thoughtful, loving son, brother and uncle. I am the oldest in my family, with 3 younger sisters. What does that tell you?

A cool girl I dated years ago always used to ask me to give her three choices for ideas, and I've stuck to that mentality since.
I would suggest one of us taking the other to something the other has never experienced before: new place, such as a park or tourist attraction in a nearby town? New kind of restaurant? New activity never tried before? Or we could both try something neither has tried before too, of course. Or for a simpler way to give us lots of conversation time - a coffee, meal or treat somewhere with a scenic walk afterwards is always a winner in my books, as a general rule.
