I'm a big, goofy, dorkball. I'm a nice enough guy. I'm a bit of a clown, I love to make people laugh, and I'm fairly outgoing. I ramble. I enjoy cooking, although my abilities have yet to match my desire. I love hiking, skydiving, hang gliding, and spending time outdoors (one of my life's missions is to conquer the seven summits). I've been called a budding adrenaline junkie. I'm terrified of heights. Take me to a high-rise building, press me against the window, and I'll probably shriek like a baby. I love conquering my fears - I'm also scared of open bodies of water and sharks, so next year I plan on taking a trip to Mexico to dive with the Great Whites!

I workout regularly, but I'm not some fanatic who carries around brown rice and chicken breasts in tupperware containers. That's just weird. I'm a music fanatic. I'm not overly fond of country and I cannot stand screamo/emo. I like classical, big band, swing, jazz, world, black metal, alternative, brit-pop, classic rock, metal, oldies, 80's...and probably a few others I'm missing. I'll bet on just about anything. Low stakes, but think 'Rat Race'. I like musicals. I recently lost a bet because I mixed up my songs from Guys and Dolls with Kiss Me Kate. I hate seafood. I will not eat it if it came from the water. I just don't care for the taste. Yes, even shrimp.

I am an atheist. More power to you if you're not but don't try to convert me and I won't harass you. I do, however, like to argue so if you're determined to sway me I welcome the pending debate...

I love baseball. Go Oakland A's!! And football. Go Niners! And a little bit of hockey. Go Sharks!!! As my sports bias may show, I'm from the Bay Area.

I want to meet someone who is open to what life has to offer. You don't need to be a major extrovert or an outdoor adventure junkie but if you aren't an optimist, if you don't have a personality, and if you aren't willing to try most things at least once, then we probably won't be a great match. First dates really depend. I think it depends on the chemistry we might have...I generally prefer meeting somebody for some lunch/coffee first and if it seems we did or might hit if off then we'll figure it out from there.
