I am a creative, fun, positive-minded person who knows how to appreciate the simple things, but likes to live it up sometimes, too. I love to go to new places, try new food, get outside, learn new things, and travel (but then I love to get back home again). I'm a kid at heart, who likes to play the occasional prank, and thinks that laughter is right up there with air. I'm the generous type, the nurturer, the one who loves to come to the rescue and solve problems, the one who can rough it without whining, but has the class and eloquence to be comfortable in the ritziest situations (but I don't care for pretentious attitudes, entitlement mentalities, or lack of humility and kindness). So I can roll with everything from going fishing (as long as you've got bug spray/pest repellant) to upscale charity events (again, pest repellant:) at least once.
I'm an artist, which, by default means I'm resourceful, inventive, and can appreciate those qualities in others. I'm grateful to have done a little bit of traveling, and because I'm a very grounded person, who loves languages, meeting different types of people, and the beauty of the human spirit, feel I can talk to just about anyone.
I love to take care of the ones I love (including me), but expect reciprocation :) I enjoy staying fit & healthy, am sometimes referred to as a health nut by my friends and co-workers, but I really just love fresh, good-for-you food (uh, vegetables and lean meats can be found pretty much anywhere) + a moderate level of junk. I'm not a master chef, but I do enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, mastering new recipes, and knowing how to make things from scratch, not boxes.
I'm looking for a funny, intelligent, preferrably Christian guy (nice looking is a definite +) for friendship, dating, maybe more later (I'm thinking I might want to close the deal one day:)). I'm not perfect, nor do I expect you to be!

*I'm a big believer in being real with oneself and the other person about compatibility. If the chemistry is not there, and one or both is not feeling a connection, be respectful of each other, but keep it moving! I, like many others would like to find "the one", not just "he'll do". And I want to be the one who makes you see a beautiful future when you look into my eyes, but if I'm not, keep it moving! :) (we can still be friends, though!!)

I like to do fun, interactive things on dates, like go to the aquarium, putt putt, or museum show openings, and I'm open to new places. The typical dinner and a movie is fine, but I like the idea of starting out with something low pressure for the first date. I think coffee and a walk in a park or other public place is a great, relaxed way to get to know someone. It's no frills and can include exploring new spots and people watching.
