About Me
ooohh the vanity box, who doesn't love to talk about themselves?
I'm a guy a typical guy? Nope, as if I was I'd have a typical girlfriend or actually more likey wifey by now, live in way too big of a house in a city I hate, have a bunch of crap I don't need, and most likey hate my job. Maybe this isn't true, I might have be happy with taking this path, one that was right there, but I sure don't think so! I've taken risks, traveled into the unknown, and low and behold the old saying "nothing ventured, nothing gained" most certainly holds true.
I love living in Vancouver, it's where I've always wanted to be, and I never let anyone convince me I wouldn't get here. I honestly think that the worst thing life could be is predictable, I don't live foolishly or have lost a grasp of responsibility (hence why single, I believe it takes commitment and a willingness to put someone ahead of yourself to be a good boyfriend), and first and foremost no matter what family and friends come before all.
I'm very entrepreneurial, I love being my own boss, having big objectives, and pushing myself. Key to success in business is to network as much as possible, I believe this holds true as well personally so here I be on pof, you know the guy who made this earns over 5mil/year in revenue?
Hmm what else? I'm a hockey nut, played it growing up and I'm a borderline unhealthy Canucks fan, I'm trying to emotionally detach myself but it's tough! A grew up in a small Alberta city, so no metro, pink shirts & pointy shoes no thanks, I do love a nice suit but to wear to work not the club. Jumbo designer shade wearing, purse dog carrying ladies, mmmm no thanks, I lived in Yaletown for a while and hated it, Gastown/Main St./The Drive is where the city living is at. I'm commonly referred to as being "goofy", not the most desirable title but I'm pretty successful at making people laugh, life can be very stressful but it's easy to forget just how fortunate you are (most people anyway), so don't take it too seriously, stop and think of something funny (when I get stressed at work I watch Don Hertzfeldt's Rejected), laughter is the best solution to problems that aren't real, you just think they are...
Well I think that's more than enough, I'm having a great day so I'm rambling on, message me if you like... cheers!
First Date
First date, whoa easy there, does it need to be a date? Let's grab a glass of hearty red wine or a pint of craft beer and solve the world's problems, I'm very insightful, especially as the drinks keep flowing ;)
