Hello ladies -- and hopefully only ladies. I enjoy the normal things like movies, sports, animals and music. I have an extreme thirst for knowledge and like to learn about history, not just United States history, but world history, present to the ancient times. I've taken history classes dating back to 5,000 BCE and am glad I did. I find it very interesting how the human race has evolved and how we have used the mind to get to where we are today. I would like to take classes eventually, or read a book, on the planet and stars.

Above all, my main hobby is sports (NBA, NFL, MLB). I write a blog that has been viewed a half-million times www.sportingnews.com/blog/mojomike if you like sports, especially the Braves, Buccaneers, Blazers, Ducks or Beavers there is usually something there about those teams. For a rush some people skydive, some people may steal or fight someone to get that rush. I like to gamble. I don't gamble on slot machines or games of peer luck or chance. I only gamble on sporting events (in Las Vegas), where I feel I have an advantage. There is nothing to describe the rush I get when I put down money on a team and the game is close - and boom, your team pulls out a close game and cash the ticket. It is so fun to me. I am not a moron that will gamble money he cannot afford to lose, so please, don't take the word 'gambling' at face value. Sports betting is more skill and about well timed bets than luck.

I am currently working two part-time jobs. One as a caregiver, the other is a side construction job. I remodel houses and turn them from crap to crazy-sweet. I also am taking college classes and within the next 9 months should have my Emergency Telecommunications classes finished. Hopefully, then I will be able to get a job as a 9-1-1 dispatcher soon after.

I am very much a family man. I talk to my parents weekly, and often spend time at our beach house with them. My sister, who is 9 years older than me, is my best friend. Our relationship is very solid. We have a tradition of going to Vegas each year on my birthday, and we may have started a new tradition by going to the beach for her birthday, this year. She is a single mother of 3, making me an uncle of 3!

I have a sports car, a 3000GT, they do not make these cars anymore so that is unique, I guess? I enjoy hard rock, alternative rock, rap, and R & B, mostly. I do not have kids, but do have a dog, a chocolate lab that is seven. I love her as much as I would love my kid, so if you are not a dog or animal lover, peace!

I am pretty traditional, maybe dinner/lunch since that is an easy, open, place to talk. I am not a coffee drinker, but if that is what you wanted to do we could go that route. If you are a big sports fan, maybe a Ducks, Beavers, Blazers, Winterhawks or other sports event. Hey, maybe we could take my dog for a walk and or hit her balls, at least she would love that ;)
