I took an early retirement from my own Commercial Art/Printing business 10 years ago, but was bored. So I started a small gun-smithing business. I work at that a couple of days a week. I volunteer 2 days a week at St. Joe's hospital in Bellingham. I live on a small, quiet lake in a (too) large house. I like to have a glass of wine on the dock at the end of a warm summer day. It would be nice to have somebody join me. I recently went through a "divorce" from a lady that lived with me for 23 years. I think it will be lonely with only the ducks and geese to talk to this coming winter.

I'd like to invite a lady to lunch. We could see if we would like to pursue any further meetings. If so, we could try some short day trips, or movies. Get a chance to know each other without a lot of strings attached. If we seem compatible, and interesting to talk to, we can decide if a more exclusive arrangement is appropriate. That is what I'd like to have, eventually. I need a good listener and talker to share my life with. Engaging conversation is more important than intimacy, although both are desirable.
