I guess my favorite thing about myself is my character. It really means a lot to me and includes honesty, dependability, loyalty and an overall kindness and empathy towards others. I have quite a few friends and they all know if they called me at 3am from another state and needed help I would be there.
I’m very down to earth and laid back but that doesn’t mean that I’m a pushover, I just don’t sweat the small stuff. I’ve done a decent amount of dating and been in several relationships over the years so I basically know what I'm looking for now.
I’m kindof sarcastic at times, not in a mean way, it’s just me trying to be funny. I’m very passionate in almost all aspects of my life. If I do something I do it 100%. I work as an analyst at a fairly large company in operational accounting.
Normally my weekdays are fairly low key and consist of going to the gym, relaxing at home, happy hour or catching a movie.
On the weekends I spend a decent amount of time with my friends doing a wide variety of things. I enjoy anything that involves being outside like hiking, sports, bbq’s, the shore/beach or just sitting by a fire at night shooting the sh*t with a couple beers. Several of my friends are DJ’s or play in bands so I often go out to support them. It’s also fun to just stay in, sitting around playing games/cards all night with a couple drinks.
I’ve never been a big city guy but my brother recently moved there so I’ve found myself heading out a couple times a month and have been really enjoying it, even if it’s just walking around.
I really like music and have a very eclectic taste, although my favorites are bands like Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Counting Crows, Coldplay, David Gray, the Verve and Jason Mraz. I love going to concerts in general or other outdoor events like festivals, fairs, etc. I’m very open to trying new things and am always looking to explore different places and experiences.

I’m looking for someone with similar qualities. She has to be sweet, caring and compassionate but at the same time have at least a little bit of an edge. I want to find someone who’s not afraid to be herself even if it means being a geek at times because I can be too. A definite plus is being able to be social and get along with people because as I mentioned I do have a decent amount of friends so I end up at quite a few gatherings.
Overall I’m looking for the person who can be my girlfriend as well as my best friend.
