I had an opportunity to start with a new, clean slate at 45 and am painting a new canvas with my same 'ole palette and new brushes. I take responsibility for my own happiness...my box of 64 colours includes joy in music, art, and a love of the environment...I value my family, dear friends...my snuggly mastiff pup, good food, chocolate, port, and all four seasons. I'm a true water baby and am happy when it rains, snows, love a swim on a sunny day, and a warm fire on a snowy one. I like loud music and happy feet, quiet corners with a good book, nights out dancing late, and mornings sleeping in late. I'm an accountant turned artist....paint to Clapton unplugged, clean house to Motown, teach to Hip-Hop, cook w/the symphony, drive w/talk radio and chair dance w/Bob Marley. Diversity feeds my soul and Reiki feeds my spirit.

My friends describe me as loving, loyal, funny, laid back, (and goofy) they nag at me to paint more, give less of myself to others, & take as good care of myself as I do my friends & family. My dog thinks I'm great. I live in a treehouse, teach in an urban high school, dream in color, and sing in the shower. I am certifiably insane and the prototype of snugglicious.

I'm a low-maintenance, low drama, glass half full woman with cold hands and a warm heart. I want to die with a short bucket list and a lot of friends.

Update: I'm a one-man woman...and one man has had my eye (and my free time) for several months now. We're dating, so I've considered closing my POF profile except that I've it seems a an interesting place to bump into people with like interests for networking, friends...and "referrals" to other single friends too!
