I think 'what' I am looking for is easier than 'who' I am looking for because I do not have a cookie cutter idea of a woman that you need to fit into or be... I am looking for a woman that I can talk to about anything, from debating whether those things you put on top of ice cream are sprinkles or jimmies to how we can solve global warming... Someone who I wouldn't mind taking my vitamins for... Someone who i could snuggle up on the couch and watch Jeopardy with... Someone who i want to cook dinner for...I work in the medical field and a gymnast who's an honest kid at heart.I grew up in NJ, and now I currently work as a family physician. I like to think I'm witty, in a dry, sarcastic sort of way... and if you ask my friends (YES I do have them) most of them would say... No Marc that wasn't funny.I am pretty athletic (I competed for the US in gymnastics) and adventerous and willing to try almost anything at least once. I can still do a backflip on command yet will not do one on a first date -- I usually land on my feet, but I'd hate to get nervous and land on my face... yes it's happened! I have a strong devotion to family and friends and tend to wear my heart on my sleeve... You can rely on me to do what I say and I almost always say what I have done...

I don't think the particulars of the first date matter as much as the person you're on the date with... So a first date should be doing something that lets us get to know each other better... kind of like an appetizer that makes you interested in having the next course...
