I love comic books and am an aspiring comic-book artist as a career. I also enjoy painting, and am heavily inspired by Impressionist masters such as Monet and Renoir. And yes...I do read books without pictures ("The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult and "Duma Key" by Stephen King are two of my favorites)!

I'm a huge fan of movies, with "Airplane!", "Pan's Labyrinth", and "Spirited Away" as three of my favorites. I spent 2 weeks in Japan and would love to travel more of the world (I'm thinking Egypt and Israel may be next, followed by a European tour...would love to see the works of the great masters in person! Regardless of where I go and when, I'll cover the map eventually! ~_^).

I enjoy going to Phillies and Flyers games. I'm a big fan of trance music (Armin van Buuren, Will Holland, Temple One, Above & Beyond, Myon & Shane54, Roger Shah, etc), but I listen to a wide variety of assorted music as well (NIN *early years*, Sarit Hadad, Tori Amos, Lelia Broussard, Howard Shore, Yoko Kanno, Akira Yamaoka, etc). My favorite current tv shows are "Lost" and "How I Met Your Mother" (some older fave's being "Buffy", "Battlestar Galactica", "Coupling"(UK), and "The Wonder Years").

I have 2 cats that enjoy opening cabinets and turning lights off and on. I suck at bowling, but I love playing anyway. And I believe that life without humor is like MTV without the music videos; boring and redundant. ^_~

As long as we have the chance to get to know each other and have fun, it really doesn't matter; some drinks at a bar, food at a diner, bowling, visiting an art museum, walking around a park, miniature golf, indoor rock-climbing, etc.

Who I am looking for:
I'm looking for a date, with the possibility of it becoming a long-term relationship. Sense of humor is a MUST, or I will become bored to tears and jump out of the window of my first-floor apartment! Goals are also important; life is full of potholes, and as such, not everyone is where they'd like to be in life, but at least have goals and dreams that you intend on pursuing. At least some college education is preferred. Awareness of the world outside your front door/country makes for stimulating conversation. I tend to mesh better with creative-types, but that's not a deal-breaker. Interests in traveling, movies, music, and trying new things would be great. I'm not looking for a female version of me, so if my taste in music and comic-books aren't your thing, that's perfectly fine; opposites do attract, and I enjoy the experience of learning/sharing new things with a partner.
